Self Portraits
Some of the ides for my self-portraits came from a dream that I had. I guess that I was thinking so much about them that I ended thinking about the different ways that I could make them in my dream. The others just came from me trying to do something different. In my photographs I wanted to express love and also sadness. Love because of the world that we live in and sadness because of the people in this world. The one that was a little hard to show was love. I did not want to add another person the photo so I decide to mess around with the sun. I had a really hard time to get me in the right place and capture the sun going trough my hands while I made a heart. Then at the end I ended up getting something really cool. Another picture that I was having a hard time was showing sadness because my best friend is so far away. I had an idea for it but I was not able to do it because I did not have a glob. So what I ended up doing was getting my folder that is full with pictures of me and my best friend.

When it came to composing it, I had a hard time, especially the light one. Since I was trying to mess around with the sun, it was hard to get me in the right place. Also, I guess that it was even harder because I was the one that had to take the picture. Another thing that was hard was to make me completely dark and the rest bright. For the other two photos it was a little easier to do, but the both ended up looking the almost the same. The other picture, the one with the tree could have been done better. Over all it is a nice photo and I like the lines from the tree, but the flash was the thing that made it all wrong. I tried to get my brother to take it without the flash and I even moved the ISO up. But according to the camera there was not enough light to make me clear. The tree would be clear but I was the one that end up all blurred. The way that I could have changed it so that I would not be blurry I could of taking the picture when the sun was up. Or I could have just taken it in another place.

Since the camera that I was using did not have a high ISO or the shutter speed thing I was not able to do that much with it. With all of my pictures I made sure that they came out good. Also since it was a black and white picture that I had to turn in, it was some what hard to think about how I was going to do it so it could look right. Over all, all of the pictures came out nice. Except the one that I had to use the flash one, the flask took away lots of the background. I think that the flash was one of my weaknesses.

Overall I think that I did a good job. The photos that I took were not like the same as the other pictures that I have taken throughout the year. The one that I am really proud of is my light picture. The one that I am not so proud of would be my line photo.
