The metaphor that I choose was “I’m an angel trapped in a ring of fire.” The reason that I picked this one is because I sometimes feel as if everyone around me is keeping trapped. Also, it feels as if they are controlling everything that I do and they won’t let me get out. At the same time I put my self as an angel because everyone tells me that I’m such a nice person. So I feel like a nice person being burn by everyone that tries to control me. The mood is sad, and to express that I’m not looking up but I’m looking down. Also I have my feet as if I’m trying to fly but just cant.
To show the ring of fire I found this really nice fire picture and then add more color to it so it could look as if it has been burning for some time already. Then I place the anomie angel on the right side of the picture. Also to add the feeling that I wanted to get away, I place my self like in the middle as if I am already trying to get out. As for the letters, I was not really sure were to place them. So what I did was place some in the both top corners. Then the word “trapped” I placed it on the left side in about the same way that I place the angel. The rest of the words wore just in the bottom.
The thing that I did really well was blending me to the angel. My face actually looks as if it was the angels. Another thing that I did well was placing my legs and face in the right place. It took me some time to do that and also to get it right but at the end it did end up looking nice. The thing that I could have done better was the placing of the words and also the font that I use. The words just took away the picture and every time that I would look at the photograph the first thing that I would look would be the words then the angel. The way that I could have made it better with the words would be by placing them in a different place.
